A leader in the growing farm-to-school movement in Vermont, Green Mountain Farm-to-School (GMFTS) promotes the health and wellbeing of Vermont’s children, farms and communities by providing programs to connect schools and farms through food and education.

Since 2005, GMFTS has grown from a single-school garden program to a nonprofit organization serving schools across northern Vermont. Through the Green Mountain Farm-to-School Network, Sprouts After-School Program, and Green Mountain Farm Direct, GMFTS provides comprehensive, year-round services for students, teachers, food service personnel, and farmers. Custom programs and workshops are also available.
